Scenthound is a wellness-focused dog care company helping dogs stay clean, comfortable, and healthy through routine care of their Skin, Coat, Ears, Nails, and Teeth (S.C.E.N.T.). We’re hiring a Member Associate to create an exceptional experience for dogs and their people at our Houston locations.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome clients and their dogs, manage check-ins and check-outs, and provide friendly, accurate service.
- Explain Scenthound’s wellness services and membership options; confidently recommend solutions that fit each dog’s needs.
- Support membership enrollment, retention, appointment scheduling, and forward booking.
- Communicate service updates and S.C.E.N.T. Check findings clearly and professionally.
- Handle calls, messages, payments, and client questions with attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the grooming and Scent Tech teams to keep appointments and client communication running smoothly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming lobby and shared workspaces; follow safety and sanitation procedures.
- Take ownership of follow-up tasks, customer concerns, and daily goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, dependable, punctual, and comfortable speaking with customers.
- Confident discussing services, recommending memberships, and asking for the sale without being pushy.
- Positive, coachable, proactive, and accountable for results and follow-through.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling phones, appointments, and in-person visits.
- A team-first attitude and willingness to support coworkers during busy periods.
- Comfort around dogs of different sizes and temperaments.
- Customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred; pet industry experience is a plus.
