Job Description
MEP Coordinator
Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection trades across complex construction projects. Lead and facilitate MEP coordination meetings with subcontractors, project managers, superintendents, and other key stakeholders. Manage clash detection, resolution, and coordination between building systems before and during construction. Review drawings, models, and field conditions to identify coordination and constructability issues. Partner with project management and field teams to ensure MEP systems are successfully integrated into the overall construction schedule. Collaborate with specialty contractors and major project partners on large-scale ground-up and renovation work. Support multiple active projects across healthcare, higher education, institutional, life science, and commercial construction. Utilize platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, P6, CAD, and Revit throughout the coordination and project delivery process. Report to senior MEP/operations leadership while working directly alongside individual project teams.

A successful MEP Coordinator should have: 3-10 years of MEP coordination, construction project management, or related experience. Experience coordinating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and/or fire protection systems. Background working on complex commercial, healthcare, higher education, life science, or institutional construction projects. Experience with large ground-up construction or significant renovation projects is highly desirable. Candidates from established mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or other MEP specialty contractors will be strongly considered. Experience collaborating with large general contractors, joint ventures, or multidisciplinary project teams is preferred. Working knowledge of construction coordination, clash detection, and constructability processes. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and/or P6 is valuable. CAD and Revit experience is a plus.
