Job Description
Job Title: MEP QA/QC Data Center InspectorLocation: Culpeper, VA (100% Onsite) Duration: 12 Months ContractPayrate: $60 to $70 per hour. Job Description:MEP QA/QC Data Center Inspector to join one of our larger clients in the Northern Virginia Market. This is 5 days a week onsite and candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with GC and subcontractors to implement comprehensive construction plans for data center projects.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Track project schedule and resources to meet key milestones and deliverables.
- Track coordination of procurement of materials and equipment, overseeing vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Provide technical support and leadership to construction teams throughout all phases of the project.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center construction project management.
- Candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including design principles, installation methods, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam and Client Office.
- Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and third-party consultants.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to data center construction.
