Description
- Coordinate and manage all MEP field operations and subcontractors on multifamily construction sites.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for MEP systems.
- Ensure work is installed per plans, specifications, applicable codes, and safety standards.
- Interface daily with the general superintendent, project manager, subcontractors, and inspectors.
- Schedule and oversee inspections with local jurisdictions and third-party consultants.
- Conduct quality control inspections of MEP installations and document any deficiencies.
- Track and manage MEP construction progress and provide input for project schedule updates.
- Collaborate in the planning and execution of MEP system commissioning.
- Identify and help resolve coordination conflicts in the field, including clashes between trades.
- Maintain daily reports, job site photos, and logs of MEP activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company safety policies.
Profile
- Minimum 8+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent or similar role, with a strong focus on data center projects
- Solid knowledge of MEP systems and best practices in residential mid- and high-rise construction.
- Proven ability to manage MEP subcontractors and coordinate field activities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, etc.).
