Job Opportunity: 2nd Shift Metal-Working Machine OperatorAre you mechanically inclined and looking for a steady role with a growing manufacturer? We are seeking a reliable Metal-Working Machine Operator to join our production team in the Brunswick, Ohio area.In this role, youll be responsible for operating metal stamping presses and ensuring the quality of high-precision metal parts. - Shift: 2nd Shift (Typical hours: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM)
- Pay Range: $21.00 $23.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Location: Brunswick, OH
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Press Operation: Set up and operate metal stamping presses to produce high-quality parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Material Handling: Utilize Overhead Cranes to safely move heavy coils and raw materials into position.
- Troubleshooting: Perform minor mechanical adjustments and routine maintenance to ensure machines run efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure they meet strict tolerance requirements.
- Safety First: Maintain a clean workspace and strictly adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Mechanically Inclined: You understand how machines work and aren't afraid to use hand tools to troubleshoot issues.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience with metal stamping, fabrication, or heavy machinery operation is required.
- Crane Skills: Previous experience with Overhead Cranes is strongly preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to read blueprints and perform basic shop math.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability: A solid attendance record and a team-player attitude.* #AIS11
