Job Summary:

Builds and manages a quality network supporting Self-Perform Work (SPW) operations to achieve quality expectations and foster professional growth across field teams and craft leadership. Oversees the development and implementation of SPW quality strategies focused on prevention, standardization, constructability, and continuous improvement to ensure self-performed scopes consistently align with established quality frameworks and client expectations. Collaborates with cross-functional managers, project leadership, and craft supervision to provide management and leadership for quality assurance programs while ensuring effective execution of quality control activities across SPW operations. Reviews quality needs, drives adoption of standardized field quality practices, provides training and facilitation, and maintains active communication to reinforce a culture of quality ownership and accountability. Reviews complex quality issues associated with self-performed work scopes and collaborates across functions to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversees the implementation and maintenance of quality frameworks for Self-Perform Work (SPW), including execution of quality processes that support consistent delivery of self-performed scopes aligned with project and company expectations.

Facilitates cross-functional quality review meetings with project teams, craft leadership, and field operations to evaluate performance trends, review quality data, and collaborate on process improvements.

Provides active management of quality coordinators and others performing SPW quality functions to achieve quality expectations, foster professional growth, and reinforce quality responsibilities across field operations, including craft professionals.

Provides active management of quality processes during project pursuit, preconstruction, and planning phases to ensure SPW quality expectations are defined early and integrated into execution planning, procurement, and constructability reviews.

Provides active monitoring and support for quality execution during construction activities and ensures quality expectations for self-performed scopes remain aligned with established frameworks and field standards.

Investigates quality non-conformance items associated with Self-Perform Work (SPW), especially those with elevated risk, repeat occurrence, or operational impact, and ensures implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Manages tracking and analytics for SPW quality metrics to identify trends, evaluate operational performance, and recommend targeted improvements that strengthen consistency and execution reliability.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:

7-9 years of experience in Self-Perform Work (SPW), project management, quality assurance, quality control, or a related field required.

2-4 years of experience in a managerial capacity required.

Certifications and Licenses:

American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) certification required.

Healthcare Access and Information (HCAI) Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) "A" license preferred.
