Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Security Consultant to join our team. As a Data Security Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust data security solutions using Microsoft Fabric. Your expertise will ensure the protection of sensitive data and compliance with industry standards and regulations. You must be able to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and business users to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements. Essential Skills:
- Data Security Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive data security strategies tailored to clients' specific needs and requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential data security threats and vulnerabilities within the Microsoft Fabric environment.
- Security Architecture Design: Design and deploy secure data architectures, including encryption, access controls, and data masking, to safeguard sensitive information.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure all data security measures comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001. Develop and implement incident response plans to effectively address data breaches and security incidents.
- Security Audits: Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address weaknesses in the data security infrastructure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure a holistic approach to data security.
- Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees and stakeholders on data security best practices and policies.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of security protocols, procedures, and incident reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest developments in data security technologies and methodologies to continuously enhance the organization's security posture.

- Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric security features.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and frameworks.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience in conducting security audits and assessments.
Must-Have:
- Microsoft Fabric Security Features: Hands-on experience with security functionalities within Microsoft Fabric.
- Cloud Security Best Practices: Knowledge of cloud security principles and frameworks, including encryption, access controls, and secure data storage.
- Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Management: Ability to identify security risks, perform risk assessments, and address vulnerabilities in a cloud environment.
- Security Architecture Design: Expertise in designing secure data architectures, including implementing encryption, access controls, and data masking.
- Compliance and Regulations: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Security Audits and Assessments: Proven experience in conducting regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and addressing gaps in security protocols.
- Incident Response Planning: Ability to develop and implement incident response plans for data breaches or security incidents.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure a holistic approach to data security.
