Position: Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) SpecialistLocation: Milwaukee, WisconsinWork Model: Onsite / HybridContract Duration: Initial 3 YearsRenewal Options: Two (2) Additional 1-Year ExtensionsMaximum Contract Term: 5 YearsClient is seeking an experienced Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Specialist to administer, maintain, optimize, and support the City's enterprise endpoint management environment.The selected consultant will be responsible for managing the SCCM infrastructure, software deployment processes, operating system imaging, patch management, endpoint security, application packaging, reporting, and overall endpoint lifecycle management. The SCCM Specialist will ensure system stability, performance, compliance, and efficient software distribution across enterprise desktop and laptop environments.The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience administering Microsoft SCCM environments, automating deployment processes, managing operating system images, supporting enterprise security initiatives, and maintaining endpoint management infrastructure.The consultant will work closely with infrastructure teams, desktop support personnel, security teams, systems administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable and secure endpoint operations across City departments.Experience• 5+ years of SCCM Administration and Endpoint Management experience.• Experience administering Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) environments.• Experience managing SCCM site infrastructure and backend components.• Experience creating and deploying software packages and applications.• Experience developing and maintaining operating system deployment (OSD) solutions.• Experience creating and maintaining desktop and laptop imaging processes.• Experience supporting Windows operating system deployments and upgrades.• Experience performing software distribution and application lifecycle management.• Experience managing endpoint patch deployment and update compliance.• Experience supporting enterprise antivirus and endpoint security solutions.• Experience troubleshooting SCCM client health and deployment issues.• Experience supporting enterprise desktop management environments.Skills• Advanced SCCM administration expertise.• Strong operating system deployment (OSD) experience.• Strong application packaging and deployment skills.• Knowledge of endpoint management best practices.• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.• Strong analytical and reporting skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.• Ability to manage enterprise-wide deployments and upgrades.• Strong documentation and process management skills.Preferred Qualifications• Government or Public Sector experience.• Experience supporting Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Co-Management.• Experience supporting Microsoft Endpoint Manager environments.• Experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 enterprise deployments.• Experience supporting Active Directory and Group Policy.• Experience with PowerShell automation.• Experience supporting endpoint security and compliance initiatives.• Microsoft certifications preferred.
