Mid-Level or Lead Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineer)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Mid-Level or Lead-Level Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineer) to join the Government Training Engineering (GTE) team located at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of applying knowledge of Engineering principles to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.  Additionally, the candidate will have demonstrated capability establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external customers, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Applies knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle.

  • Analyzes, conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances.

  • Review defect and damage conditions; establish root cause and provide acceptable disposition instructions that are innovative, thorough and practical.

  • Applies engineering principles to research technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions.

  • Identifies documents, analyzes reported problems and communicates deviations that could impact design intent and safety; recommends and manages resolution.

  • Develops and implements product/process improvements.

  • Supports Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participates in design reviews.

  • Represents the engineering community in the build of customer deliverables.

  • Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • 3+ years of experience performing Material Review Board (MRB) product review

  • 3+ years of experience in an engineering role

  • 3+ years of experience interpreting and using engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Experience with Product Data Management (PDM), Model Based Engineering (MBE), CATIA, ENOVIA

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience

    (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

  • 5+ years of experience in structures/ design engineering

  • Universal Product Review Certification

  • 5+ years of experience with applying knowledge of design principles to assess and resolve product issues through the product lifecycle.

  • 5+ years of experience with developing dispositions for aircraft non-conformances.

  • Currently have or have held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months.

  • Experience interfacing with Operations and Engineering disciplines, as well as being able to work in a team environment or to work independently. 

  • Work effectively and cooperatively with team members, management, and other cross-departmental teams.

Lead-Level Summary Pay Range: $118,150 to $159,850
