Job Description
100% Onsite at the National Indian Gaming Commission located at: 550 12th Street SW, Washington, DC 20024
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding Federal Government holidays
Pay Rate: $40-$45/hr
*Hires are contingent upon contract award*MID-LEVEL RECORDS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST 2
The Mid-level Records Management Specialist 2 personnel will perform activities as follows:
a. Perform records management activities according to Federal government privacy and legal requirements.
b. Assist in the development of analyses and reports associated with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the Privacy Act (PA) processes.
c. Manage the flow of FOIA and PA correspondence or requests and establish processes to provide prompt responses to requestors in accordance with FOIA policies, procedures, and guidelines.
d. Perform technical tasks involved in maintaining Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
e. Participate in the development of information management policies and governance of supporting applications on Microsoft 365 and Salesforce platforms.
f. Manage SharePoint sites content and permissions.
g. Create and execute PowerShell scripts to produce reports and perform records management tasks.
h. Compile data for reports, transcribe reports, and maintain indexes.
i. Ensure that all work products are proofread and free of errors, omissions, and inconsistencies.
Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years Records Management experience for mid-level personnel.
Bachelors Degree in relevant field. Relevant certifications may be substituted for a formal college degree; however, demonstrated hands-on experience in performing the required tasks is mandatory and may not be substituted.
Experience with analyzing and developing reports associated with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the Privacy Act (PA).
Experience with Customer Relationship Management module of Salesforce.
Experience managing SharePoint sites content and permissions.
Knowledge and ability with PowerShell scripting to produce reports and perform records management tasks.
