Job Description

The Savannah R3 School District is seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and student-centered individuals to serve as athletic coaches across a variety of sports and grade levels. Coaches are responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and instruction to student-athletes while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement practices, game strategies, and conditioning programs.
Foster a positive team culture that supports student development both on and off the field.
Supervise athletes during practices, games, travel, and other team-related activities.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes.
Communicate effectively with players, parents, school staff, and administration.
Comply with all MSHSAA (Missouri State High School Activities Association) regulations and district policies.
Manage team equipment and uniforms responsibly.
Promote academic achievement and monitor eligibility of student-athletes.

Employment is contingent on applicant completing and passing a FBI/MHP background check in addition to MSHSAA emergency coaching certification.
