Job Description

Middle School Science Aide:American Heritage School in American Fork, Utah, is seeking a qualified and dedicated middle school science aide. The aide will assist teachers with classroom management, grading, teaching, lab preparation and general teacher and student support. Bachelor's degree and experience teaching in school settings are preferred, but not required. Candidates must demonstrate an enduring love of youth, a love of teaching and learning, and a desire to work in a faith-based atmosphere aligned with values taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Successful candidates will also demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills, high energy, and a willingness to learn.Candidates should be professional in appearance and demeanor and be willing and able to uphold and serve as ambassadors for the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement, on and off campus. Position available immediately for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year.

In addition to the job requirements listed above, please include in your application any interest you have in helping with our AHS extracurricular athletics programs. Please let us know if you have experience as a player or a coach in specific sports. AHS prefers to fill its extracurricular athletics coaching openings with employees (teachers, aides, etc.) who also have skills and interest in coaching athletics.
