Job Description
About Kansas City Christian School
Kansas City Christian School is a Christ-centered educational institution committed to academic excellence, spiritual formation, and nurturing the whole child. In partnership with families, we prepare students to follow Christ and lead with wisdom, character, and service.
Position Overview
KCC is seeking a passionate, faith-filled Middle School Science Teacher to join our community. In this role, you will deliver engaging, inquiry-based science instruction to 7th and 8th grade students across life science, earth science, and physical science, all through the lens of a biblical worldview that affirms God as Creator and science as an act of discovery and stewardship. You will design hands-on laboratory experiences, differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs, and use meaningful assessment to track and communicate student progress to both students and families. We are looking for someone who does not just teach science but who helps students see the wonder of God's design in every lesson. Most importantly, we are looking for a born-again Christian who is committed to KCC's mission and eager to invest in the lives of middle schoolers.
