You'll work closely with engineering to optimize welding programs, contributing to the production of high-quality components. Your expertise will help ensure smooth workflow and excellent results every day.What You'll Do As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up and operating production welding equipment, including manual and robotic welders.
• Interpreting blueprints and AWS welding symbols to perform accurate welds.
• Performing MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and spot welding in all positions as required.
• Using sheet metal measuring tools like calipers and protractors to ensure precision.
• Collaborating with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Maintaining safety protocols and actively participating in ergonomic evaluations and safety programs.
• Operating other fabrication equipment as needed to support manufacturing processes.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and the Employee Development Program.
• Performing additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of welding experience, preferably with MIG and some TIG welding.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to obtain a forklift license if necessary.
• Physically capable of performing welding tasks and standing for extended periods.
