This position starts at $19.50/hour, with the opportunity to earn up to an additional $2.50/hour within your first 90 days, based on performance evaluations:

• 30-Day Review – Potential increase of up to $.50/hour
• 60-Day Review – Potential increase of up to $.50/hour
• 90-Day Review – Potential increase of up to $1.50/hour

Your pay reflects your progress, reliability, and contributions to the teamSuccessful candidates are expected to comply with general attendance policies and safety policies and procedures.Primary PurposeCan perform a variety of welding functions. the individual should be familiar with and capableof using various types of welding equipment. Responsible for maintaining quality. Responsible to the JobBoss process and reporting accurate quantities.Essential DutiesManually guide electrode or gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld and size of molten puddle. Other DutiesAssist other departments as required/directed.  May act as line leader, setting up lines, and checking weld quality of co-workers as required. Other duties as assigned.Minimum Experience and QualificationsAbility to:

• Perform simple shop math and convert decimals to fractional equivalents. 
• Read a calibrated tape measure.
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to read and interpret documents finished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality and procedure manuals.

Experience6 months required in welding3 year(s) preferred in welding, reading blueprints, and checking weld quality.Can perform a variety of welding functions. the individual should be familiar with and capableof using various types of welding equipment.
