Job Description

Maintain all equipment in the plant. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential functions satisfactorily.

Hourly rate for this position is $32.25 per hour.

Daily Job Duties:

  • Use mechanical and power tools to repair mill equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Be able to use work order system.
  • Be able to do basic maintenance on all equipment.
  • Read schematics, and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs.
  • Welding & Fabrication for repairs and install of mill equipment.
  • Work on and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic units and devices.
  • Properly repair and install mechanical parts for equipment.
  • Operate Forklift - as required.
  • Follow all applicable safety rules.
  • Work regularly scheduled shifts.
  • Work scheduled overtime - as required.
  • Work as relief operator.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Requirements:

  • Welding
  • Acetylene/Oxygen Torch
  • Wide range of mechanical skills and use of tools
  • Forklift
