Job Title: Minerals Mill WorkerLocation: Amelia LA 70380Duration: 06+ Months Pay rate: $19.00/hr $20.00/hr on W2 without benefitsShift: rotational shift - 8am to 4pm, 4pm to midnight, midnight to 8 amNote: CDL is not required. Contractor will not be driving on any roadways. Contractor will have on job training. Should be authorized to work in US. Should be able to read and write in EnglishSummary:The Minerals Mill Worker is responsible for utilizing crushing, grinding, conveying, packaging, testing and shipping equipment to expedite transformation of crude materials such as barite and bentonite into finished products.Basic Objective: Maintain crude ore stockpile area, crushing equipment and front-end loader. Provide a steady quality feed rate of crude ore material to the grinding equipment.Responsibilities:
- Operate crushing equipment and front-end loader in an efficient manner.
- Prevent product non-conformity by ensuring the proper blend is mixed.
- Operate all equipment in a manner to keep unnecessary maintenance problems to a minimum.
- Communicate with Supervisor and Operator A.
- Unload railcars when necessary.
- Maintain crude ore stockpile area.
- Maintain a safe, clean, environmentally sound work area.
