Cardiovascular Surgeon Opportunity
Central Mississippi | Permanent | Partnership Track
Established cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery program serving Central Mississippi is seeking a permanent Cardiovascular Surgeon to join a stable, collaborative team.
The Opportunity
- Join an established cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery group
- Permanent, full-time position with partnership track
- Shared call rotation approximately 1:41:5
- Predominantly day-shift schedule
Clinical Practice
- Comprehensive adult cardiovascular surgery practice
- Case mix includes:
- Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
- Valve repair and replacement
- Aortic surgery including aneurysm and dissection management
- Emergent and urgent cardiac surgery
- Annual cardiac volume: 300400 cases
- Subspecialty interests welcomed (not required):
- Aortic surgery
- Structural heart and valve programs
- Minimally invasive or hybrid approaches
Candidate Profile
- Fellowship trained Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgeon
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active Mississippi medical license or participation in the IMLC, or willingness to obtain licensure
