Mobile App Tech Lead (React Native – Retail E-commerce)• Hybrid, Onsite in Dallas, TX• Rate: $80 - 90/hr • W2 Hourly: $70/hr to $79/hr

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Mobile App Tech Lead with strong expertise in React Native to lead the design, development, and delivery of our retail e-commerce mobile applications. This role requires deep technical knowledge, hands-on coding experience, and the ability to guide teams while collaborating closely with product, backend, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end development of mobile applications using React Native.
Architect scalable, high-performance mobile solutions for retail e-commerce platforms.
Collaborate with backend teams to design and integrate robust APIs.
Drive best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and maintainability.
Mentor and guide developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce development standards.
Work closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure seamless integration with third-party services such as payments, analytics, and customer engagement tools.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues.
Stay updated with emerging mobile technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with React Native and mobile app development (iOS & Android).
Proven experience in retail e-commerce applications (cart, checkout, payments, order management, etc.).
Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, API design, and integration patterns.
Experience working with backend systems and microservices architecture.
Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, state management, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment processes.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Leadership & Communication

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Experience in mentoring developers and driving technical excellence.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
