Mozaic (a chapter of NYSARC) is seeking a Mobile Custodian in Fulton, NY

Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Monday – Friday, 3 pm – 10 pm

Hours Per Week: 37.5

Work Location: On the road start at 7 Morrill Place Fulton, NY 13069

Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including industrial cleaning, floor care, and custodial duties across commercial and residential settings. A commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety is essential.

Mobile Custodian Duties and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-organized spaces by checking, cleaning, and restocking restrooms throughout your assigned area, as well as sweeping and mopping floors to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Your work will also include cleaning windows, dusting surfaces such as desks, cabinets, and furniture, and performing floor care using proper safety procedures and signage. You will manage waste by emptying receptacles, replacing liners as needed, and ensuring all recyclable materials are removed and disposed of appropriately. Additional responsibilities may include supporting monthly, semi-annual, or annual special projects based on site needs. You'll also be expected to properly maintain equipment, promptly report any malfunctions or concerns to your Supervisor or Crew Leader, and communicate any issues, complaints, or incidents in a timely manner. A key part of this role is ensuring all areas are left clean and secure, with no materials or equipment left behind after use, while being flexible to work overtime as needed to support team operations.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License required.

Must have ability to work productively when unsupervised.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Exposure to noise, dust, heat, fumes and other elements with several continuously present to the extent of being disagreeable.
