Mobile QA Automation Engineer / SDET
Atlanta, GA / New York, NY / Phoenix, AZ - Day 1 Onsite
We are looking for a strong QA Automation Engineer / SDET to support testing efforts for enterprise payment and digital products.
This role will focus on building and maintaining automated test frameworks, validating APIs and UI functionality, and ensuring high-quality releases across mobile and backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Perform API, UI, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business teams.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor quality metrics and prepare test reports.
- Support UAT and production release validation.
- Use AI-assisted tools to improve test creation and reporting where applicable.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of QA Automation or SDET experience.
- Strong experience with Appium, Selenium, or similar automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
- Programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Payments, banking, or financial services experience.
- Mobile application testing experience (Android/iOS).
- Accessibility and performance testing experience.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools.
- ISTQB or other testing certifications.
Compensation: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
