Job Description
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a skilled Mobile Roll Forming Operator for our client, a leading sheet metal production company serving the construction industry throughout the Pacific Northwest.
About the Role: This unique position combines shop fabrication work with on-site mobile roll forming operations. You'll be responsible for operating a roll forming machine mounted on a 20-foot trailer, traveling to job sites throughout the Portland Metro area as well as up to Seattle and parts of Idaho to manufacture custom sheet metal products including gutters, siding panels, and roofing materials directly on location.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate mobile roll forming equipment to produce sheet metal products at various job sites
Safely tow and maneuver a 20-foot trailer to locations throughout the Pacific Northwest
Perform shop-based fabrication and manufacturing of sheet metal products
Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting on roll forming equipment
Load and secure materials using forklifts and proper material handling techniques
Maintain accurate records of fuel usage and company vehicle operation
Ensure quality standards are met on all manufactured products
Requirements:
Experience with sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing
Proven ability to safely operate and back up vehicles with trailers
Valid driver's license with clean driving record (MVR check required)
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment maintenance
Forklift experience preferred
Comfortable with extended travel and overnight stays when necessary
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Schedule & Compensation:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM start time
8-hour shifts with ample overtime opportunities
Schedule may vary based on field job requirements
Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
