Role Definition:

The Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) in Hodges, SC has an opening as a Blown Core Mold Maker on 2nd shift. In this role, you will perform a variety of functions: Machine setup, problem-solving skills, computer skills, molding assets, assembly, basic mechanical skills, setting cores, closing molds, making cores or operation of shakeout equipment, maintaining a clean workspace, and collaborating with team members. Candidates will also be required to lock out equipment to clean and perform setups.

What You Will Do (including but not limited to):

• Machine setup
• Basic mechanical skills
• Computer skills
• Mold making
• Assembly
• Core setting
• Mold closing
• Shakeout operation
• Core-make

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 3 months of manufacturing experience.

Top Candidates will also have:

• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Previous foundry experience.
• Computer skills.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Problem solving and decision-making.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Ability to learn all aspects of job assignments.

Additional Information:

• 2nd shift: Monday- Friday 2:00PM - 10:30PM.
• Training completed on 1st shift hours Tuesday- Friday.

Summary Pay Range:

$18.35 - $23.35
