Morning Baker

Save More Marketplace is excited to announce an opening for a Morning Baker! This position is perfect for those who thrive in a bustling morning environment and have a passion for baking fresh goods. As a Morning Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking delicious bread, pastries, and other morning delights to ensure that our customers start their day with the best treats possible. If you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for creating mouthwatering baked goods, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breakfast items, including pastries, muffins, and artisan bread.
• Execute recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavor and presentation.
• Manage baking schedules to have products ready and displayed for the opening of the store.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, ensuring all ingredients are stocked for daily baking.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to create a positive work environment and meet customer needs.
• Stay engaged with current baking trends to innovate our morning offerings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or baking certification is a plus.
• Prior experience as a baker or in food service, particularly in a morning shift role, preferred.
• Solid understanding of baking techniques and food safety standards.
• Ability to work early morning hours and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality in all baked products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
