Morning Custodian - Lehi City Civic Center

PAY RATE: $13.80 - $16.55 (depending on experience)

SCHEDULE: 3:00 AM to 8:00 AM OR 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM (based on operational needs)

Lehi City is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and professional individual to join our custodial team at the Lehi City Civic Center. This morning shift position plays a key role in preparing the facility for daily operations while working respectfully and quietly in an environment with staff and early occupants present.

• Perform a variety of custodial and cleaning duties throughout the Civic Center during early morning hours.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, offices, meeting rooms, and public areas.
• Complete detailed cleaning tasks while maintaining a low-noise, professional presence in occupied spaces.
• Operate light custodial equipment and tools in a safe and non-disruptive manner.
• Use cleaning supplies and chemicals safely and according to established procedures.
• Follow direction from supervisors while working independently to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous behavior while interacting with staff and the public.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to operate custodial equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and cleaning standards.
• Willingness to work early morning hours (3:00 AM to 8:00 AM OR 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM).
• Ability to work quietly and professionally in occupied buildings.
• Ability to work well with supervisors, co-workers, and the public.
• Must pass a BCI (background) check.

Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
