Job Description
1st Liberty FCU is actively searching for a Consumer/Mortgage Assistant Loan Officer located in Great Falls, MT. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service to our members and we know that all starts with our employees. Responsibilities:
- Assisting members with their account financial lending needs.
- Providing account information.
- Processing various financial transactions, loan applications, interviews, decision making and disbursals, consumer, mortgage lending.
- Assisting members with credit counseling and budgeting.
- Lien filing and releases.
- Cross-selling debt protection.
- GAP, MBP, Debt Protection insurance.
- Matching our members’ needs with the appropriate credit union products/services.
Requirements:
- Business Degree or 2 years financial lending experience.
- Knowledgeable in consumer and mortgage lending practices and regulations.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to effectively cross-sell credit union services and products.
- Excellent listening and written/verbal communication skills.
- Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Proven team player.
- Proficient knowledge of standard office equipment and Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
