Union County Community Action, Inc. (UCCA) is seeking caring and dependable early childhood professionals to support our Head Start/NC PreK classroom serving 4-year- old children by assisting teachers with classroom activities and providing safe transportation services for children and families.Schedule: Monday–Friday 7am-3pm (40 hours/week)Why Join UCCA?- Eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program

- Assistant Teacher I: High School Diploma/ GED & Child Development Associate (CDA). Six months to one year of related experience preferred
- Assistant Teacher II: Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development or related field preferred. Six months to one year of related experience preferred
- EDU 119 required
- CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening and TB test, and must submit to random drug screenings.
- Valid driver’s license required
