Job Description
Pajarito Mountain Ski Area is seeking an experienced and driven Mountain Manager to lead mountain operations during an exciting period of growth and investment. With a Capital snowmaking pipeline project underway, this is a unique opportunity to help build a high-performing team and shape the future of skiing and riding in Los Alamos NM.
Position Overview:
The Mountain Manager will oversee all on-mountain operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality conditions for guests and staff. This role requires hands-on leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to build and mentor a strong operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily mountain operations including lifts, grooming, and snowmaking
- Lead, train, and grow a skilled mountain operations team
- Play a key role in the implementation and operation of the new snowmaking system
- Ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across all departments
- Collaborate with resort leadership to improve terrain quality and guest experience
