Job Description

Location: Fully Remote

Salary Range: 65-70/hr on w2 Candidate should work on Artech W2 Introduction

Join a dynamic team within the Bank Tech line of business, where you'll be responsible for managing and supporting the MQ environment and clusters. This role involves collaboration with a team of 10 members, including both junior and senior engineers, to ensure seamless operation and modernization of MQ infrastructure across various AWS environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in MQ administration
3 years of experience in MQ clustering
3 years of experience in AWS
DevOps operational experience, including containerization and pipeline work (change, modify, and debug)
Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience working in Autoscaling and EC2
Experience managing VPC and VPN
Familiarity with MQ error codes and encryption settings

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Monitor Slack support channel for non-production inquiries
Perform daily validations and remediate any issues found
Troubleshoot production incidents, if applicable
Address application team issues during their deployments/testing
Modify or improve documentation for application teams or external stakeholders
Deliver JIRA stories related to modernization efforts, including containerization of the MQ platform
