Job Description

We are currently looking for MRB Design Engineer to join our team for an exciting new opportunity in Wichita, KS., or Tulsa OK United States. If you are passionate about MRB Engineering (Aircraft Repair) and you want to be part of a proactive, reactive, fast paced, exciting, customer focused and efficient MRB Engineering Team then we want to hear from you.

  • Experience that will put you ahead as a candidate: Previously held MRB Signing Authority within the past 3 to 5 years. 3+ years with Boeing products or supply chain preferred. Structure/design engineer experience with Boeing 737 or 787 Optional working schedules possible: Full and Part Time Day shifts Full and Part time night shifts Weekend shifts Responsibilities: Carry out design analysis and creating design dispositions for assembly manufacturing non-conformances, assessing different repair scenarios for fit, form and function Processing detail and sub assembly concessions from risk sharing partners and Final Assembly Lines Ability to identify the most efficient methods for analysis whilst ensuring adherence to relevant airworthiness and customer procedural requirements Able to liaise with multiple functions/suppliers (e.g., Design/Stress approvers) to ensure most appropriate design solution is met with consideration to cost, time, performance and installation requirements Customer facing Ability to explain and escalate critical issues and an ability to mentor others Qualifications: A minimum of a BS in Aerospace Engineering (Mechanical, Design, Structural etc.) Experience working on Boeing products and structures either directly or within the Supply Chain, for a minimum of three years and ideally having held a level of delegated technical approval Knowledge across 737/787 or similar aircraft variant programs, preferably with both metallic and composite capabilities Understanding of material properties, production & manufacturing methods and practices and their effect on aircraft performance Working knowledge of CATIA V5 for interrogation and drawing/model modification Previous Design Organization Approval (DOA) would be advantageous for the role Completed Concessions processing courses TIPQA an advantage SAP NCMS knowledge essential Compensation: Salary based on experience.
