JOB DUTIES:

• Review and evaluate nonconforming product identified during production or inspection. Perform technical assessment against engineering drawings, specifications, and other customer requirements.
• Prepare detailed nonconformance documentation for submission to customer for customer engineering disposition. Coordinate with customer engineering for technical evaluation and final disposition.
• Track and follow up on submitted nonconformance tags to ensure timely customer response.
• Communicate final dispositions (use-as-is, rework, repair, or scrap) to internal production and quality teams.
• Using customer engineering rework/repair instructions, develop routing to facilitate the rework/repair activity strictly as instructed by the customer-approved disposition.
• Manage and control nonconforming product in the Quarantine Room to ensure product is contained, identified, processed, and released per internal procedure.
• Perform thorough inspections and testing of aerospace components, sub-assemblies, and finished product to verify compliance to customer engineering requirements.
• Assist Quality Control, Nondestructive Testing, Final Inspection, Production, and other key areas with special projects as assigned.
• Investigate and analyze NCR data to identify trends. Support the Corrective Action Board and facilitate Root Cause Corrective Action activities as assigned.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as assigned to implement effective process improvements and perform verification of corrective actions for effectiveness.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of Seyer's Quality Management System in alignment with aerospace industry standards (AS9100).
• Assist with investigating, preparing, and submitting Notification of Escapes to affected customers as assigned.
• Assist with responding to customer Root Cause Corrective Action requests as assigned.
