We are currently partnered with a leading healthcare provider in Cottonwood, Arizona, to hire a Full-Time MRI Technologist. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced MRI Tech to join a supportive team while living in one of the most scenic and vibrant locations in the U.S.
Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our client's team in Cottonwood, AZ. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver precise diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring images are of the highest quality for accurate diagnoses.*
- Assist patients in preparing for MRI exams, explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns.*
- Monitor patients during MRI scans to ensure safety and comfort.*
- Operate MRI equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.*
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of MRI exams.*
- Adhere to all safety standards, infection control procedures, and radiation safety protocols.*
- Ensure proper positioning of patients for optimal image capture.*
- Work closely with radiologists and medical staff to discuss imaging results as needed.*
- Provide excellent patient care, ensuring a positive experience and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.*
- Certification in MRI through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MRI) is required. ARMRIT accepted. *
- State licensure in Arizona as a Radiologic Technologist is required.*
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.*
- Experience in MRI procedures and imaging preferred.*
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and equipment operation.*
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
