Exciting Opportunity for MRI Tech Radiology / Cardiology ProfessionalsJoin our team as an MRI Technologist specializing in Radiology and Cardiology at a reputable community hospital. This vital role offers the chance to work in a dynamic outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department setting, utilizing advanced imaging technology to deliver exceptional patient care. With a focus on accuracy and safety, you will be instrumental in diagnosing complex conditions and supporting clinical teams.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of MRI procedures across radiology and cardiology, including abdomen, pelvis, chest, brain, head and neck, extremities, and spinal imaging.
• Utilize Siemens MRI equipment and PACS systems for image acquisition and interpretation.
• Ensure patient safety through radiation safety protocols, contrast media preparation, and administration.
• Adhere to infection control practices and maintain accurate documentation.
• Work within a 1:2 ratio, with weekend shifts (Saturday-Monday, 07:30-20:00).

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience, including trauma and emergency procedures.
• Strong proficiency with MRI protocols, PACS, and Siemens equipment.
• Certification in BCLS and ARRT MR required.
• Experience with contrast media administration and radiation safety.
• Ability to start peripheral IVs and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of various MRI procedures including MRA, MRCP, MRV, and other specialty imaging.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous traveler experience preferred but not required.
• Experience working with community hospital systems.
• Additional certifications or training in advanced MRI techniques.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Certification: ARRT MR or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience, with a preference for trauma and emergent imaging backgrounds.
• Traveler experience is acceptable; locals are encouraged to apply.

Other Requirements:

• RTO (Request for Time Off) after booking not permitted; additional RTO may lead to cancellation.
• This position involves working day shifts (3x12-hour shifts, 07:30-20:00) from Saturday to Monday.
• No call or float requirements.
