Full Time MRI Technologist Near Wichita, KS
Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist for a full-time opportunity with one of our trusted healthcare partners in Wichita, Kansas. This is an excellent opportunity for an imaging professional looking to advance their career in a supportive and patient-focused environment.
Position Overview The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic results. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent patient care skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols*
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures*
- Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications and monitoring during scans*
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality*
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver accurate diagnostics*
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging documentation*
- Educate patients on procedures and address any concerns or questions*
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulatory guidelines
Education & Certification Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or related field*
- ARRT certification in Radiography required*
- ARRT (MR) certification preferred or required within a specified timeframe*
- Active Kansas state licensure (if applicable)*
- BLS certification required
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred*
- Strong knowledge of MRI equipment and imaging techniques*
- Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills*
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment*
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
