MRI Technologist

Our client, one of the largest independent radiology practices in the tri-state area known for its highly experienced radiologists and commitment to exceptional patient care, is hiring a MRI Technologist. Join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a supportive and professional environment. The MRI Technologist will be instrumental in performing MRI exams with precision and care, ensuring optimal diagnostic results while maintaining a focus on patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols, ensuring quality and efficiency.*
• Escort patients to treatment areas, assisting with dressings and addressing patient concerns.*
• Complete all necessary documentation for timely service delivery.*
• Explain procedures to patients to alleviate concerns and facilitate cooperation.*
• Administer I.V. contrast and practice radiation safety measures.*
• Assist radiologists with special procedures such as arthrograms.*
• Conduct quality control checks, monitor equipment performance, and report malfunctions.*
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and patient-centered approach in all interactions.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a recognized technical school or college.*
• ARRT (R) and (MR) certification, along with Connecticut licensure.*
• At least two years of clinical experience with all MRI procedure types.*
• Experience with Siemens or GE MRI systems preferred.*
• Ability to operate independently with strong attention to detail and patient safety.*
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
