Travel MRI Tech Company: Fusion Medical StaffingFacility in Newburgh, New YorkFusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Newburgh, New York. Successful completion of a Radiology program of study with specialization and training in MRIOne years’ experience as an MRI TechValid Radiology/MRI license in compliance with state regulationsThe MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to produce high-quality 3D images used in medical diagnosis. They interact directly with patients and administer intravenous injections of contrast dye as needed and collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic results. MRI Technologists are responsible for maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring patient-centered care throughout the imaging process.Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedure, ensuring compliance with safety protocolsEducate patients on MRI procedure and answers questions if they ariseMaintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any malfunctionsV.s and administer contrast media per orders and protocol, monitoring patients for adverse reactionsMonitor image quality during procedures and make adjustments to scanning parameters for optimal diagnostic resultsDocument all procedure details, including imaging parameters and patient observations, in compliance with hospital policiesCollaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging and timely delivery of resultsMaintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with infection control and hospital policiesFollow hospital safety rules and procedures including infection control and radiation safety protocolsPerform other duties as assigned within the scope of an MRI TechnologistThe ability to read, write, and communicate in the English languagePhysical Abilities

Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bendTechnical/Motor Skills
Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipmentMental Requirements
Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Sensory
