Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Medicaid reimbursement, DSH payment methodologies, and healthcare funding analytics
- Proficiency in Medicaid DSH payment modeling, rate calculation, and reimbursement methodologies
- Experience in federal healthcare policy analysis, regulatory interpretation, and compliance reviews
- Experience with provider financial data collection, validation, reconciliation, and audit support
- Experience in State Plan amendment reviews, program evaluation, and payment schedule development
- Strong communication skills for hospital training, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting
Responsibilities
- Calculate annual DSH payment models, reimbursement rates, and supplemental payment schedules
- Proficiency in reviewing payment methodologies and recommending program administration enhancements
- Experience in assessing federal policy changes, court rulings, and regulatory impacts on reimbursement programs
- Experience with collecting, validating, and resolving provider-submitted financial and utilization data
- Experience in supporting audits, compliance activities, and required program documentation processes
- Ensure project quality, deliverables, timelines, stakeholder communications, and training activities
