Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist (ASCP) – Wilmington, DE

NOW HIRING – Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist (ASCP)

Location: Wilmington VA Medical Center – Wilmington, DECompany: SolvetFederal Contract Opportunity

Solvet is seeking ASCP-certified Clinical Laboratory Scientists/Medical Technologists to support the Wilmington VA Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity to provide laboratory services for our nation's Veterans in a collaborative healthcare environment. The requirement includes multiple shifts.

Available Shifts

  • 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
  • 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM (Sunday night–Thursday night)

Responsibilities

  • Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory testing
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation
  • Perform quality control and quality assurance activities
  • Evaluate specimens and validate results
  • Troubleshoot equipment and testing issues
  • Report critical values and maintain laboratory documentation
  • Utilize the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
  • Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and VA policies

Qualifications

  • ASCP Certification (MLS, MT, or CLS)
  • Experience in hospital or clinical laboratory settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and laboratory operations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
