Make an Impact
As our Multifamily Capital Improvements Project Manager, you will oversee a variety of capital projects that enhance the value, longevity, and performance of our apartment communities. This role is hands-on, highly visible, and essential to supporting our operations across Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
What You’ll Do
  • Lead the RFP process, including scope development, bidding, and contractor selection for roof replacements, asphalt work, full paint and wood replacement, drainage, retaining wall repair and replacement, and other major capital work.
  • Build and manage strong vendor and contractor relationships
  • Oversee capital projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality workmanship, budget alignment, and timely execution
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers and Executive Leadership to ensure project priorities align with property and company goals
  • Travel throughout TX, OK, and KS to evaluate property needs and provide on-site project oversight
Who Excels in This Role
  • Must reside in Dallas, TX
  • Experienced professional with a solid background in construction management and capital improvement projects
  • Skilled in contractor coordination, negotiation, and contract administration
  • Able to travel frequently across TX, OK, and KS
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and project/contract management tools
  • Organized, detail-driven communicator who can confidently work with leadership and site teams
