Core Responsibilities: Urban & Site Design - Execute design responsibilities including: - Stormwater management solutions - Layout design for detention basins - Infrastructure renewal strategies - Navigating state and local permitting processes - Produce detailed engineering drawings and comprehensive technical documents
Documentation & Permitting - Compile engineering studies, technical memorandums, and necessary documentation - Prepare and submit permit applications for state and municipal authorities
Plan Evaluation & Regulation Compliance - Assess subdivision and utility plans submitted by developers - Verify compliance with municipal regulations, such as: - Subdivision & land development - Zoning laws - Grading requirements - Stormwater control measures - Assist in construction management tasks and monitor escrow accounts when needed
Qualifications: Required - B.S. in Civil Engineering or similar credentials - At least 2 years of experience in site civil or municipal design - Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D related to municipal projects - EIT certification preferred or underway - Keen attention to detail and strong communication skills
