Project Manager – Municipal & Water/Wastewater (PE)

Location: Oklahoma City, OK Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will take full ownership of water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure projects from initiation through completion. You will serve as the primary bridge between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, sustainable water resources.

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, including scope development, budget management, and scheduling.

  • Infrastructure Design: Oversee the design of treatment facilities, distribution systems, collection systems, and transportation-related municipal projects using Civil 3D.

  • Team Coordination: Manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers and subcontractors to meet milestones and maintain technical excellence.

  • Regulatory Management: Navigate the permitting process with regulatory agencies and utility providers to ensure full compliance and timely approvals.

  • Strategic Planning: Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to inform project planning and long-term decision-making.

  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and professional development to junior staff members, fostering growth within the firm.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a motivated leader with a strong background in public works and the communication skills required to manage complex municipal relationships. This position is 100% onsite to foster real-time collaboration and team integration.

  • Licensure: Valid/active State of Oklahoma Professional Engineer (PE) license (Reciprocity from other states is acceptable).

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.

  • Experience: 5+ years of combined experience in municipal design (transportation, water, wastewater, and public infrastructure).

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Autodesk Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.

  • Proven Record: Demonstrated success in project management and a history of delivering superior client service.
