Job Description
KPM is seeking a dedicated and skilled HVAC Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team.
This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our residential properties. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair work including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
- Respond promptly and effectively to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Assist with apartment make-ready tasks between residents.
- Conduct regular inspections of property facilities and equipment.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory in good condition.
- Collaborate with team members and property management to ensure maintenance goals are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Support special maintenance projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plus.
- 1-3 years’ experience in general maintenance or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed.
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Customer service-oriented attitude and professionalism.
