Job Description

We are an established, highly respected entertainment business management firm with offices in Nashville, New York, and Los Angeles.

We are seeking an efficient, proactive, and forward-thinking Entertainment Business Specialist to join our growing team. We support music industry clients and related entities with financial organization, compliance coordination, and ongoing operational support. This role requires someone who can manage multiple clients simultaneously, shift priorities as needed, and keep projects moving with professionalism, discretions and strong client service while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role. More than just a job, FBMM is a place to build a career and half of our staff have been with us for five or more years.

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations across multiple entities
  • Review financial statements for accuracy on a cash basis
  • Commission preparation and tracking
  • Assist with tax projection support and preparation
  • 1099 compliance support
  • Schedule B Personal Property tax return gathering and preparation
  • Prepare payroll using third party payroll vendors
  • Track insurance policies and monitor insurance renewals
  • Light budgeting and cash flow tracking
  • Foreign tax documentation gathering (touring related support)
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial reporting across multiple clients
  • Gathering and organizing documentation for business tax licenses, sales tax filings, and outside CPA tax return prep

  • Strong multi-tasker with the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Comfortable communicating with a wide variety of personalities (clients, CPA's, vendors, tour managers, etc.)

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of two (2) plus years' experience with multi-client financial or bookkeeping required
  • Proficient in QuickBooks
  • A minimum of two semesters of college-level accounting
  • Experience in the entertainment or music industry a plus
