Now Hiring: Music Therapist (Creative Group Facilitator)Adolescent Wellness Academy – Miami, FL
Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA) is hiring a credentialed, high-energy Music Therapist to lead impactful, creative, and clinically focused group sessions with adolescents. We're looking for someone who does more than just talk about music — we want a therapist who uses music to transform the room.
Your sessions should feel alive. Teens should be moving, making music, connecting with themselves and each other in new ways. The goal is to create an experience where therapy and creativity meet — and where each group leaves the teens feeling seen, inspired, and emotionally activated.
We want:
- Live instruments, rhythm, and movement
- Songwriting, drumming, singing, or beat-making
- Emotional processing through music and self-expression
- A therapist who can meet teens where they are — and bring them somewhere new
Schedule & Details:
- In-person in Miami, FL
- Available any day except Wednesdays and Thursdays
- 75-minute group + 15 minutes for documentation
- Starting once per week, with potential to grow to twice weekly
- 1099 Contract Position
Ideal Candidate:
- Credentialed Music Therapist
- Experienced in adolescent mental health
- Confident, creative, and clinically grounded
- Brings energy, structure, and intention to group work
- Uses music as a tool for connection, regulation, and healing
