National Accounting & Auditing DirectorJob Summary The National Assurance Director is responsible for understanding and communicating audit methodology, professional standards and firm policies, as well as communicating these policies to the firm through Assurance comments, trainings, technical guides and Flash reports to ensure proper compliance.QualificationsEducation:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Economics or other related field preferredExperience:- Ten (10) years of prior work experience- Prior supervisory experience requiredLicense/Certifications:- CPA certification preferredSoftware:- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook- Experience with assurance research databases, such as APTOther Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:- Solid understanding and proficiency of audit methodology and APT- Strong leadership and management skills- Superior written and verbal communications skills- Advanced knowledge of technical aspects of auditing, as well as GAAP, GAAS, SEC, GAGAS, Single Audit and PCAOB rules and regulations, as applicable
