Job Description
Natural Gas Analyst Bridgeport, WV (Onsite) 12+Month Contract
Seeking a Natural Gas Analyst to join a transportation services team supporting natural gas transportation operations. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, data entry, and customer service skills to process transportation activities, communicate with customers and pipeline representatives, and support daily scheduling functions. Candidates must be able to work a rotating onsite schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Responsibilities
Analyze and process natural gas nominations in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Accurately perform daily transportation processes on multiple electronic bulletin boards (EBBs), including nomination, confirmation, and scheduling activities.
Utilize analytical methods and tools to perform capacity allocation.
Serve as a point of contact for external customers regarding transportation-related inquiries.
Communicate regularly with interconnecting pipeline representatives to identify and resolve pipeline discrepancies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, accounting, marketing, and IT teams.
Perform testing of proprietary EBB applications as needed.
Participate in peer training, knowledge sharing, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, accountability, and commitment to team success.
Maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree required.
0 2 years of professional experience.
Ability to perform data analysis and data entry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to communicate effectively, establish rapport, and speak persuasively with customers and stakeholders.
Ability to negotiate and resolve issues effectively.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Must be reliable and consistently demonstrate high-quality work.
Ability to work onsite on a rotating schedule, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Flexibility to work the following shifts as assigned:
Weekdays: 8:30 AM 4:30 PM and 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
Weekends: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, 2:00 PM 10:00 PM, and 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
Overtime may be available but is not required.
