Job Description
- Gather, analyze, and document system requirements for processing human-originated inputs and queries within C2 systems
- Provide subject matter expertise on Fleet Naval Forces, Fires Coordination, Maritime Operations Centers (MOC), and Coalition operations
- Define and refine Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIRs), mission state assessments, and warfare conduct parameters
- Support operational deployment of C2X capabilities during fleet exercises, experimentation events, and real-world operations
- Collaborate with software engineers to translate operational concepts into technical requirements
- Participate in meetings, reviews, and data calls at the TS/SCI level via JWICS
- Act as overall project manager for the team of software, systems, and cybersecurity engineers and support personnel.
- Graduate of a U.S. military command/staff college OR equivalent documented warfare qualification (e.g., Surface Warfare Officer).
- At least ten (10) years of operational U.S. Navy/Joint experience in Command and Control (C2) and Naval Fires.
- Experience with Carrier Strike Group (CSG) or Maritime Operations Center (MOC) planning.
- Proficient with common productivity software.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience managing a major U.S. Navy/NAVSEA/DoD program or project.
- Experience with Maritime Tactical Command and Control (MTC2) or related Navy C2 programs.
- Familiarity with Agile software development and DevSecOps environments.
- Prior experience supporting NAVSEA, NAVWAR, or Fleet Cyber Command initiatives.
