Are you a skilled project manager with a passion for Medicaid initiatives? We are seeking a dedicated Medicaid Program Administrator to ensure the effective administration of Medicaid initiatives at NC HIEA. Located in the vibrant city of Raleigh, NC, this role offers the opportunity to lead critical projects and collaborate with key partners to drive impactful healthcare solutions.

This position is initially posted with an end date of 09/30/26 to align with the federal end of fiscal year, with an extension anticipated for at least another year. As the Medicaid Program Administrator, you will:

• Lead the development, revision, execution, and oversight of federal Advance Planning Documents, contracts, MOAs, MOUs, BAAs, and other agreements.
• Coordinate and align efforts across NC HIEA, Medicaid, and vendor staff to ensure program goals are met.
• Organize internal program team meetings in collaboration with project management staff.
• Report progress to state and federal partners.
• Communicate effectively with state and federal partners and related stakeholder organizations.

Requirements

• 3+ years in contract development, administration, and monitoring.
• 3+ years in budget development, administration, and monitoring.
• 3+ years implementing data governance and exchange according to state and federal regulations.
• 3+ years coordinating staffing needs and documentation across business units.
• 3+ years researching and evaluating vendor solutions for project needs.
• 3+ years monitoring and reporting on project management tracking/reporting.
• 3+ years aligning efforts and ensuring effective communication across multiple business units.

Preferences

Experience with NC DHHS and SAS (NC HIEA's technical partner) is a plus.
