NDT Assistant

We are seeking a skilled NDT Assistant to perform RT, MT, PT, and UT inspections in accordance with industry codes and customer requirements. This role involves maintaining safety standards, and ensuring positive client and team relationships.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum age – 18 years old
• Valid Driver's License
• Pass hair follicle drug screen
• Pass DISA background check
• TWIC Card
• RT State Card
• Comfortability with heights
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work in team environment
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety

Responsibilities:

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Assist in recording results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management or team lead
