NDT Heat Treat Technician - Heath, OHFull-Time | Local Candidates OnlyWe are currently seeking experienced NDT Heat Treat Technicians for full-time work in Heath, Ohio. Candidates must be local to the Heath, OH area.The ideal candidate will have experience performing heat treatment operations in industrial or manufacturing environments while maintaining compliance with applicable procedures, specifications, and safety standards.Position SummaryThe NDT Heat Treat Technician will be responsible for performing and monitoring heat treatment processes on various materials and components. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced industrial environments.Employment Type

Job Responsibilities

Perform heat treatment operations in accordance with approved procedures and specificationsSet up and operate heat treatment equipment, thermocouples, and monitoring systemsMonitor heating and cooling cycles to ensure compliance with temperature requirementsRead and interpret heat treatment charts and documentationMaintain accurate records and reports of heat treatment activitiesEnsure compliance with all company, customer, and safety requirementsTroubleshoot equipment and process issues as neededWork closely with quality, production, and inspection teamsSupport field and shop operations as requiredWork overtime, weekends, and varying shifts based on operational needs

Qualifications

Previous heat treatment experience requiredExperience in industrial, manufacturing, refinery, or fabrication environments preferredStrong understanding of heat treatment processes and temperature control systemsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and specificationsStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyAbility to work independently and in team environmentsValid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Previous NDT experience or certifications are a plusKnowledge of post weld heat treatment (PWHT) preferredExperience using chart recorders, burners, and electrical heat treatment systems preferred
